Understanding Mockups & Exporting

Finalize your designs and export print-ready files for production with confidence.

Previewing Your Design with Product Mockups

Product mockups allow you to see how your design will look when applied to physical items like shirts or mugs—before you print or share it.

Step 1: Open the Product Preview

  1. With your project open in the Design Interface, locate the Preview icon on the right-hand side of the design workspace.
  2. Click the Preview icon to open the Mockup window.

The Preview icon may look slightly different depending on your project type and settings.

Step 2: Choose a Mockup Template

  1. In the Mockup window, browse through the available product templates.
  2. Use filters to narrow results by product type (for example, T-Shirts or Mugs).
  3. Hover over the template you want to use.
  4. Click Edit This Mockup.

Step 3: Adjust Artwork Placement

Once the mockup opens:

  • Your design will appear on the product template.
  • Drag the artwork directly on the Artwork Board to reposition it.
  • Resize the artwork to better fit the product if needed.

Step 4: Change Product Colors

  1. Click Color in the mockup controls.
  2. Click the plus (+) icon next to Color Options.
  3. Select a new product color to preview how your design looks on different backgrounds.

This is especially useful for testing contrast and readability on light vs. dark products.

Step 5: Export the Product Mockup

When you’re happy with the preview:

  1. Click Export Product Photo.
  2. Review the credit cost displayed on the button.
  3. Confirm the export.

The mockup is downloaded as a high‑quality PNG, perfect for:

  • Ecommerce product listings
  • Marketing materials
  • Sharing with customers or team members

Exporting Your Design File

Once your design is finalized, you can export it for printing or distribution.

Step 1: Open the Export Document Window

From the top menu:

  1. Click File
  2. Select Export Document

This opens the Export Document window with all available settings.

Step 2: Review File Name & Format

The file name is prefilled using your project name. You can change it if needed.

Choose an export format:

  • PDF
  • PNG
  • TIFF

Select the format recommended by your printer or production workflow.

Step 3: Background & Size Settings

Transparent Background

  • Enabled by default if your design supports transparency.
  • Uncheck this option if you want a white background instead.

Adjust Width, Height, and DPI as needed for your output requirements.

Step 4: Export the File

  1. Double‑check all export settings.
  2. Click Export.

Each export uses OneKlik Credits.
The exact credit cost is displayed on the Export button before you finalize.

Your exported design will download directly to your device.

Tips for Best Results

  • Always preview your design on a relevant product mockup before exporting.
  • Test multiple product colors to ensure strong contrast.
